COOPERS DE LATTE ESPRESSO MACHINES

As one of the countries leading espresso specialists, we are constantly lobbied by equipment manufacturers to promote their products. Several years ago an equipment manufacturer in Barcelona convinced us to have a detailed look at their espresso machine range.

After extensive testing, both in house and in the field we decided to trial the range with a number of customers. The machines proved to be an immediate success. Using our experience we made a couple of amendments to tailor the machines to suit the UK market (increased boiler and heating element specifications), the finished product is branded "De Latte".

De Latte has proved to be so successful in terms of both performance and reliability, that, when three times UK Barista Champion Simon Robertson came to replace his ageing machine, he had no hesitation in deciding that a 2 Group De Latte from Coopers was the best machine for his business.

INSTALLATION OF ONE GROUP MACHINES

1. Electrical requirements = Standard 13 amp socket (An extra 13 amp socket will be needed for the coffee grinder).
2. Water supply = 15mm standard cold water feed complete with a standard washing machine fitting.
3. Waste pipe = if it is convenient to install, then do so, otherwise we advise a small catch tray or tub for the small amount of waste created.
4. Remember! Always allow space for a coffee grinder and a knock out drawer or box.

1. Electrical requirements = 32 amps (this is similar to a cooker switch type socket and the wiring is 6.0mm. An extra 13 amp socket will be needed for the coffee grinder).

As with most traditional design espresso machines, the standard De Latte can dose espresso directly into a regular 8oz take out cup, for larger cups the espresso has to be decanted from a shot glass.

The De Latte Alto has an increased group head height, which enables espresso dosing directly into large 12oz and even extra large 16oz cups. This facility speeds up beverage preparation and reduces the customers waiting time, a critical factor in busy take out operations.
