Dalla Corte - the proof of taste
The steam wand has an attached probe that reads the temperature of the milk. The steam will turn off automatically at a set temperature, e.g. 65 °C, ensuring the perfect temperature each time.
Air is sucked in from the top of the wand into the milk which is responsible for the creation of foam. The amount of foam can be regulated by the amount of air that is sucked into the milk. Simply turn the screw anti-clockwise to set the wand to create more foam.
The wand can be set so it does not create foam at all so it has the option to work fully manually as well. The advantage with this is that the milk will always have the exact same temperature and texture.
The biggest mistake with milk steaming is the temperature. Most people tend to heat the milk too hot which results in loss of flavour. The Dalla Corte automatic steam wand will ensure that this never happens again. Foaming milk can be tricky for some people and this automatic steam wand takes away problems associated with foaming milk.
The steam wand is attached to the Dalla Corte espresso machine as an additional steam wand which makes it possible to have 4 steam wands for one machine!
It is possible to have one steam wand set to a higher amount of foam which gives you the option to have one steam wand for latte milk and one steam wand for cappuccino milk.
